Division of Undergraduate and Pre-service Studies
The Faculty offers a comprehensive range of undergraduate and pre-service (graduate) programs in Education and Social Work. Academic programs administered by the division include the following undergraduate degrees:
- Bachelor of Education (Primary)
- Bachelor of Education (Secondary) in Humanities & Social Science, Mathematics, and Science
- Bachelor of Education (Secondary)/Bachelor of Arts in Humanities & Social Science, and School Counselling
- Bachelor of Education (Secondary)/Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, Science and School Counselling
- Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Social Work
The division also administers the graduate coursework programs in:
- Bachelor of Teaching (Primary and Secondary), including School Counselling
- Master of Teaching (Primary and Secondary), including School Counselling
The Sub-Dean of Undergraduate and Pre-service Studies has responsibility for the academic coordination and administration of the Undergraduate degree courses in the Faculty of Education and Social Work. Student matters are dealt with, in the first instance, by administrative staff in the Undergraduate Division of the Faculty(listed below) and by the relevant academic Course Coordinator (Program Director) - see 'Student Assistance' in Related Information.
Student enquiries may be made at the Faculty Office counter near the lifts on level 3 of the Education building.
