Division of Professional Learning

 

Division of Professional Learning
The DPL delivers innovative professional development courses, workshops, conferences and flexible-learning programs for teachers, school executives, and social and policy workers. We are endorsed by the NSW Institute of Teachers as a provider of professional development for the maintenance of accreditation at Professional Competence; and many of our courses have clear pathways to accreditation, articulating directly with the Faculty’s postgraduate programs.

HSC Enrichment Courses

 

HSC Enrichment for Drama Students
This seminar is for Year 12 drama students preparing for their Higher School Certificate examinations. Experienced drama educators, highly skilled in preparing and examining students in HSC drama, will provide instruction on three key topics: Australian drama and theatre; group performance; and individual performance.

Professional Experiences - Practice Teaching and Internships

Information for students, cooperating teachers and tertiary supervisors for the Professional Experiences programs in the teacher education courses in the Faculty. Professional Experiences include observation visits, practice teaching (or the practicum) and internships.
