Honours
Meritorious candidates may be admitted to the honours program in the MTeach, which will comprise:
- specialist coursework in research methodology (beginning in Semester Two of first year)
- a research project (Special Study) culminating in a 10,000 word dissertation. A wide range of educational research projects are appropriate for Honours Special Studies, including research on policy and curricula. Classroom-based research is generally not appropriate for the relatively short Honours Special Study.
Honours is not available for the BTeach award or for part-time students in the MTeach.
