Education II Program

Education II is designed to add to your developing knowledge base in the education studies area as you get started on a professional journey in education in general and teaching in particular.

Education II comprises two units of study: EDUF2006 and EDUF2007. The first is a dedicated introduction to the study of Educational Psychology. It addresses issues such as the process and motivation of learning. It is foundational for people who wish to enter the teaching profession. The second unit looks at the process of policy making and the political economy and sociology of education. This is similarly a crucial study as educators come to grips with the social and political significance and context of their work.

If you need advice or assistance in any part of the Education II program, depending on your query or concern, contact your tutor or one of the Education II coordinators.

Members of the Education II teaching team are available to help you. We look forward to your studies with us. We hope that you enjoy your association with the University, the Faculty and the program in which you are enrolled, and that what you learn with us will be helpful for the years to come.
