Arts-based Learning and Teaching (EDUF3036)
This unit aims to give students an understanding of the traditions, influences, stylistic and contemporary practices that contribute to the arts in Australia and the Pacific.
Knowledge of all aspects of the arts, as well as design traditions and contemporary practices are an important foundation for educators. Coursework will focus on Pacific Islander and indigenous Australian arts education and explores how art and design can form the basis of overall learning and teaching.
