Master of Education (English and Literacies in Education)
At the commencement of the 21st century, the field of English and Literacies is dynamic and constantly evolving. In the context of a visually saturated and technologically advancing society, our textual landscape is very different to what it was even as close as a decade ago. In this degree, students will critically examine the richness and diversity afforded by both old literacies and new literacies, including visual literacies, e-literacies and multiliteracies.
Our program will offer students opportunities to extend their knowledge about the field through understanding recent research developments in the field. It will also encourage students to explore and examine innovative approaches to teaching English and Literacies in this Electronic Media Age.
