Bachelor of Teaching and Master of Teaching (Secondary)

Prerequisites

The prerequisites for the graduate-entry degrees in secondary teaching are listed in detail on the ".../Prerequisites/Secondary teaching" page.

In four curriculum areas – art, mathematics, languages and science – students who meet particular prerequisites are allowed to qualify to teach exclusively in that area. In the curriculum areas where this is offered, it is termed "double-method" study. All curriculum areas, including the four that have double-method options, are available for study as a "single method".

Applicants for the graduate-entry secondary-school-teaching course must satisfy the subject prerequisites for either one double-method curriculum area or two single-method areas.
