Bachelor of Education (Secondary:Science)/Bachelor of Science

This degree allows graduates to qualify as secondary-school teachers in the curriculum areas of science; science and geography; or science and mathematics.

Candidates must complete:

• at least one year's study of either chemistry or physics
  
  
• a major in biology, geology, chemistry or physics
  
  
• at least one year's study of a second science (to ensure graduates have not been trained exclusively in, say, chemistry).
