Pearson Australia and ATEA Teacher Educator of the Year Award 2009

Pearson Australia is calling for nominations for the 2009 Pearson Australia and ATEA Teacher Educator of the Year Award. The aim of the award is to encourage and recognise innovative teaching practices in teacher education at a university level.

Do you have a colleague (lecturer and/or tutor) who has shown outstanding dedication and passion for their teaching? Have they made a significant contribution in one of more of the following areas: lecturing, tutoring, student support and/or the development of quality teaching materials in the form of website, course materials or software? If so, we warmly invite you to nominate them or encourage them to apply for themselves.

Nominations should be submitted using the official nomination form and received by Friday April 24, 2009.

The prize of a plaque and $A3000 will be awarded to the winner at the 2009 ATEA Annual Conference, which is planned for Albury, NSW, in June.
