Undergraduate Enrolment 2007
Welcome to the Faculty of Education and Social Work at the University of Sydney, and congratulations!
Your enrolment day will soon be approaching, after which you will officially be a student of the University of Sydney.
Preparing for enrolment is very important and you should read thoroughly the information package that you are sent with your letter of offer.
If you cannot attend the enrolment day you should contact the Faculty of Education and Social Work on (02) 9351 2634. You can send someone to act on your behalf if you are not in Sydney. This person will be your proxy and must bring a completed proxy form (PDF) with both your signature, their own signature, and some ID.
Preparing for Enrolment
Step 1: Read the information you receive from UAC
If your application to the University of Sydney has been successful, you will receive a package from the Universities Admission Centre (UAC) containing your letter of offer and information about the enrolment process.
You can locate admission and enrolment information at the Student Centre website
Step Two: Buy your Faculty Handbook
It is important that you have your own copy of the Faculty of Education and Social Work Handbook. The Handbook contains all of the relevant information regarding your degree and unit of study options for your first year of enrolment.
You can download a copy of the handbook online, or purchase a copy from the Student Centre in the Carslaw Building.
Step 3: Consider your Unit of Study Choices
You should prepare for your enrolment day by familiarising yourself with the units of study on offer to you in your first year of enrolment, and ensuring that you think about how the units you choose might fit into your whole degree program.
You can start to think about the units you may wish to take later in your degree, and make sure you have the right prerequisite units now.
You will need to select your units of study for the whole year on your enrolment day. Make sure you bring your Handbook in case you need to change your selection.
