About the Policy & Professional Practice Research Network

Welcome to the homepage of the Policy and Professional Practice Research Network. The Network was established in 2007 and brings together teachers, researchers, policy-makers and others involved in the examination of educational policy and professional practice.

The aim of the network is to provide:

• intellectual space where our core members, research students and other interested persons within the Faculty of Education and Social Work will contribute to the debates related to Policy, Practice and Professionalism at a national as well as an international level;
• academic leadership by making significant contributions to the literature in the field and by hosting seminars and other events;
• a forum for the development of research projects in the areas of policy, practice and professional learning.
